This Sourdough is done the right way, it all begins with a 20+ year old starter that has been fed and cared for to make the perfect bread. The entire process takes City Bakery about 48 hours start to finish to get this bread, and that time and attention is what separates this bread from anything you can find in a grocery store. City Bakery is a locally owned Artisan Bakery which has been producing quality breads and desserts to over 150 Denver-area restaurants since 2007. City Bakery's Owner and Baker, Michael Bortz, has been mentioned in several news publications including Westword (Best Bread), 5280 Magazine, Eater, and Zagat (Best Dessert). Always preservative-free, we know you and your family will love City Bakery's delicious breads. Michael says making the perfect sourdough takes passion and hardwork, but it is worth it when you taste this bread.
